Session Summary: This webinar will provide an update on the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic by focusing on both ends of spectrum from infection prevention to management of severe disease. Speakers will summarize relevant clinical trial data from COVID-19 vaccination trials and what it means for our patients; and also discuss basic pathophysiology of COVID-19 related acute respiratory distress syndrome and new insights in management via extra corporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO).
